2023 ("DPDP Act").
6.1 Information
we collect
This Portal
does not automatically capture personal information (such as name, phone
number, or e-mail address) that identifies you individually, unless you choose
to provide it — for example, while submitting a grievance, query, or feedback
form. Where such information is requested, you will be informed of the specific
purpose for which it is being collected, and appropriate security safeguards
will be applied.
We do
automatically log certain non-identifying technical information for every
visit, including Internet Protocol (IP) address, domain name, browser type,
operating system, date and time of visit, and pages viewed. This information is
used only in aggregate for site administration and security monitoring and is
not linked to individual visitor identity unless an attempt to damage or
compromise the Portal is detected.
6.2 How we use
and protect your information
We do not sell,
rent, or share any personally identifiable information you provide with any
third party, public or private, except where required by law.
Information you
provide is protected against loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure,
alteration, or destruction, using reasonable security practices and procedures
as prescribed under the IT Act, 2000.
Personal data
is retained only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it
was collected, or as required under applicable record-retention rules, after
which it is securely deleted or anonymized.
6.3 Your rights
under the DPDP Act, 2023
Subject to the
provisions of the DPDP Act, 2023, you may have the right to:
Obtain a
summary of the personal data we hold about you and how it is being processed;
Request
correction, completion, or updating of your personal data;
Request erasure
of your personal data, where it is no longer necessary for the purpose it was
collected;
Withdraw
consent (where processing is based on consent) and register a grievance
regarding the handling of your personal data.
To exercise any
of these rights, please contact the Grievance Officer named in Section 9.
6.4 Children's
